Dear Arkady Shamuelov — Happy 70th Jubilee!
The
years pass, yet with them come wisdom and that rare harmony of life - the
insight to make the right decisions and the joy to still allow oneself a few
gentle whims. We wish you this perfect balance, and above all - the ability to truly enjoy
every single day.
We,
the members of the San Diego Yehudim (SDY) community, deeply value your remarkable contribution to the creation and growth of our
congregation. From the very beginning, you and your family have stood at the forefront - not
in words, but in meaningful deeds.
Thanks
to your vision, our community received its emblem. And your creative hand
shaped the Aron HaKodesh, the sacred ark that holds our Torah scrolls, crafted
in the finest traditions of Jewish art and dedicated to the memory of your beloved parents- Elizaveta Rubinova and Iosif Shamuelov - and to all those from our
community who are no longer with us.
By
your initiative, the “Ner Tamid” (Eternal Light) was created - a symbol of the Temple Menorah, whose flame burns without end. These works are far more than art - they are living symbols of our shared
memory and spiritual heritage.
Your
generosity - financial, moral, and creative - cannot be overstated. You have
always given freely, with kindness and sincerity. For this, we thank you from
the heart.
Together
with your beloved wife Dora, you have built a strong, honorable family. Despite
all the challenges of immigration, you gave your children and grandchildren education,
stability, and confidence in the future. Today, they bring you joy and pride - a
living reflection of your love and dedication.
Your
move from San Diego to New York to be closer to your family is yet another
expression of that same love and loyalty. With your architectural knowledge, you have helped many members of our
community - always with professionalism, kindness, and humility.
Dear
Arkady, we congratulate you on this milestone with all our hearts! May your years ahead be long and peaceful, your mind clear, your health strong,
and your days filled with light, meaning, and happiness.
With
heartfelt wishes,
Your friends and members of the San Diego Yehudim (SDY) community
