RTVI US celebrated its 25th anniversary with a grand gala evening in New York City.

Over the years, the channel has become an important media platform for the Russian-speaking diaspora in the United States and around the world—bringing together viewers, voices, stories, and generations.

The anniversary evening gathered journalists, executives, community leaders, business partners, and longtime friends of the network. Guests reflected on RTVI US’s journey—from its early broadcasts to today’s modern studio productions—discussing the role of independent television and the importance of remaining a vital link between people, cultures, and countries.

The evening unfolded in a warm and inspiring atmosphere: congratulations and words of gratitude filled the room, honorary certificates were presented, behind-the-scenes stories were shared, and the audience laughed at familiar clips and remembered bright moments from the past. There were smiles, hugs, heartfelt toasts, and dreams for the future. Words of appreciation were given both to those who stood at the channel’s origins and to those who continue to move it forward today. Everyone present felt part of one big shared story.

The anniversary was not only a celebration but also a reminder of the channel’s mission—to remain a space where people can hear one another, preserve language and culture, and stay connected to their roots.

RTVI US continues to serve as a platform for dialogue and live connection, uniting the Russian-speaking community on both sides of the ocean.
