Held at the elegant Sky Wise Restaurant, the
evening was not simply a birthday party - it was an unforgettable theatrical
production, a concert, a literary celebration, and a heartfelt expression of
gratitude for an exceptional woman. Business leaders, artists, community
members, friends, and admirers gathered to honor someone whose imagination has
enriched so many lives.
The centerpiece of the evening was a spectacular
theatrical performance based on Heritage. Guests traveled through
biblical history, royal courts, and great civilizations in a breathtaking
production filled with music, dance, symbolism, humor, and magnificent
costumes. From Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden to the grandeur of King
Solomon's Temple, from royal dynasties to scenes inspired by The Prince of
Egypt, every performance reflected the richness of JEKA's imagination.
The evening also featured beautiful musical
performances, including an emotional duet by JEKA and her husband, Yakov,
celebrating love, family, and shared dreams. During the celebration, Michael
Novakhov presented JEKA with an official Citation from the New York State
Assembly in recognition of her outstanding contributions.
Every thoughtful detail – from the elegant décor to
the carefully prepared kosher and non-kosher menus, exquisite,
handcrafted desserts by Ladies'
World Magazine colleague Zoya Aminov, founder of SoulBake by Zoya, – reflected the warmth and generosity of the
