Thanksgiving, Friendsgiving, Lovegiving

Last year, after Thanksgiving dinner at home, my friends and I went to a club in Los Angeles to relax and have a great time together. A sign reading "HAPPY FRIENDSGIVING" caught my attention on the wall among the lovely Thanksgiving decorations and other holiday decor. How symbolic and strangely appropriate it is!. In fact, it has been a long-standing tradition to celebrate Thanksgiving with close friends in addition to family. Friends with whom you are continuously seeking for an excuse to get together to have a pleasant discussion, share news and happiness, and simply have fun... Therefore, Thanksgiving is appropriately known as Friendsgiving, in my opinion. In this, I see the profound significance, because at the core of both words is one of the finest emotions that can be felt by a human being: love. And I mean love in its broadest definition, which includes affection for one's native land, culture, people, and environment. I have frequently seen (perhaps from you, dear readers) that persons who are rich in love and able to love truly to tend to be more compassionate and noble. They have a stronger sense of gratitude and appreciation. In the context of Thanksgiving, a holiday that everyone loves, this means gratitude and appreciation to God, as well as to family and friends, gratitude for happiness and joy every day, to family and friends, for prosperity, for friendly support and a kind attitude, for tenderness and courage, for the support and strength of husband, wife, brother, friend, children, neighbors, etc. Grateful to the country we live in, which is known as a land of "unlimited opportunities" where anyone can do anything they dream of or want to do, if they follow the "he who goes on his way" principle. Perhaps, if America were a living person, she would be glad to hear passionate expressions of gratitude from us, immigrants, for her care for us, our old parents who never worked in this country, as well as the weak and the sick.

For me personally, I will be forever grateful to this life for providing me with the opportunity to meet loyal and devoted friends who helped me spread my wings. I am appreciative of my staff since they make me feel better and more confident by assisting me in handling work - related issues. I will be eternally grateful to our community, particularly its women, for the trust they have placed in me and the continuing support they have provided. I am thankful to all the staff members who collaborate with me to create our cherished “Ladies’ World" as well as to all those who read and adore our magazine, support it, and ensure its success. In addition, I want to express my appreciation to my husband and children for the warmth they have shown me, as well as to my granddaughters for the tremendous happiness they have brought into my life.

I enjoy planning for this holiday and inviting everyone I care about to spend the day with us. And I wish the same for each, and every wonderful person!
