For this test we will take a sample of cells from the back of your throat and add it to a liquid that promotes the growth of germs.

In 1999, he started working at a private practice in Northwell. Dr. Farzin is affiliated with various nursing homes, hospitals, and assisted living facilities in the New York Metro area.

Rafael Yaakobov is a board-certified nurse practitioner and also the founder of Future Care Internal Medicine PLLC.

Rafael received his undergraduate and graduate education at Molloy College and graduated with honors. Throughout his medical career, he has worked at different practices with multiple levels of healthcare. He started as a Registered Nurse at LIJ ER, moved into homecare, and later worked in Mount Sinai Hospital. Rafael is committed to helping his patients, give them the care they deserve, and advocate for their wellbeing.
