The year 2023
has been marked on the calendar. Dear readers, our editorial team and I
congratulate you from the bottom of our hearts!
Every year, we
usually make new wishes and make plans to start a new life where everything is
much better. As the editor of this "women's" magazine, which you all
know is also for men, I would like to wish everyone, but especially women, more
happy minutes, hours, and days in the coming year. Why women you ask? Yes,
because the family atmosphere, laughter, a tasty feast, and home comforts are
all dependent on a happy woman! And, as demonstrated by several family
experiences, the woman's husband plays the most significant influence in her
happiness. Then everyone else in the house is content, including him, his
children, his parents, and his guests... That is exactly what the popular
American proverb "Happy wife, happy life" means! I don't think I will
"discover America" if I tell you that nothing is more dangerous than
a woman who has been hurt by a man. The way you treat a woman will be echoed
back to you, only more harshly.
In this case,
I'd like to move away from the common belief in our community that only the
woman herself, with her wisdom and natural ability to keep the family together,
can control everything in her house. She might be able to, but from my many
social and professional observations, I can see that this comes at a terrible
cost: the cost of her own health. With this in mind, we've recently started
writing more about what men can do to make their marriages work. Therefore, I
genuinely hope that everyone of them becomes happier in the coming year, but
first by making his woman happier. After all, you males are a woman's primary
source of happiness!
The second
essential principle of happiness is one's state of health. Ancient doctors knew
this truth: our emotions have the strongest and most direct effect on our
health and well-being. Positive feelings and good thoughts can not only make
you happy and bring you joy, but they can also often help you recover from even
the worst diseases.
This is
supported by various scientific studies. In Belgium, a peculiar message can be
found on the walls of cafes and bars "Live for your own pleasure.” Even
though the writing is strange, it is not a joke. Instead, it tells the most
important truth. Unfortunately, according to scientists, it is much harder to
stimulate positive emotions than negative ones. It turns out that the human
brain is tuned to detect "external danger" as a result of
evolutionary elements of development. This means that we notice negatives more
quickly than positives, and despite hoping for the best, we nevertheless
anticipate the worst. And during this period of waiting, we expend a great deal
of life energy on pointless, unjustified concerns, anxiety, and worry.
Consequently, we destroy our own health.
If we were to
summarize the key to good health in just three words, we would say something
like, "Think of Good!" Or, to put it in a single word: "Rejoice!"
Clear your mind of those worrying ideas! Smile! Statistics have shown that
happy people live better and longer lives. Because "a healthy body, a
healthy mind" is not true, "A healthy spirit keeps the body healthy.
And lastly,
having a profession that a woman enjoys going to every day is absolutely
necessary for her level of happiness. Having some creative input into this task
is also a plus. A stay-at-home mom can be creative.
Even the most
unnoticeable and unappreciated of jobs may be made more enjoyable and creative
with the right attitude and outlook.
In reaction to
this opinion, however, one of my acquaintances stated that this effort only
makes her happy and joyful when her husband notices and appreciates it. It's
all up to you, dear men!
Best wishes
for the New Year 2023, lovely women! This year, may you all have access to the
"three fundamentals of happiness: health, love, and creative labor."
And let your men assist you for their own benefit!
After all, if you try to make other people happy, you will find your own happiness.
